Getting Started With CourseCheck
![]() In 5 Simple Steps Congratulations on your interest and willingness to enhance and strengthen your eLearning course! OLN is very interested in helping faculty find proven resources that increase the quality of online courses, and therefore student success. CourseCheck can be used to review a single course no matter the level or discipline. Please note: your course content is not being reviewed. CourseCheck in 5 simple steps: Step 1: Get a login and password. (If you already have a login and password, go directly to the login prompt.) Step 2: Select one course that you teach at a distance. You will focus on this course as you complete the CourseCheck process. Step 3: Review the CourseCheck Resource Bank. The Resource Bank has resources and examples of how each Principle can be implemented. While exploring the Bank, think about the strategies you currently use in your course. Step 4: Select 3 of the 7 Principles of Good Practice that you currently use in your course. Prepare to begin the CourseCheck process. Step 5: Complete the CourseCheck web form by logging in (see Step 1 above for login details). The form allows you to SAVE your work-in-progress and finish it at a later time. When finished, submit the completed form to OLN. You will receive an automated confirmation by email if your submission is successful. That's it!
